Terms and Conditions
1. Driving licences and fitness to drive
• You must hold a valid driving licence – whether provisional, full or international – and must present it at your first lesson.
• You must be fit to drive in accordance with legal and medical requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit to drive for every lesson or driving test. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse the use of the car for your lesson/driving test if there is any suspicion of impairment due to illness, drugs or alcohol. In such circumstances, the full fee for the lesson/driving test will be charged at your current lesson/test rate.
2. Payments, cancellations and punctuality.
• Tuition fees are normally paid in advance. Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque.
• Unless 48 hours’ notice is given, any cancellation will be charged to your current course fee.
• We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule a driving lesson under certain circumstances (e.g. hazardous weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns).
• If you have booked lessons and then decide you no longer wish to take all the lessons you have booked, you may request a refund. Any refund will be issued by cheque.
• We will contact you if we are running late for your driving lesson. The lost time will be added to the end of the lesson, if possible, or added to another lesson at a later date. If you arrive late for your lesson, that time will be lost.

3. Training vehicles, driving tests and bookings.
• The training vehicles provided are road-taxed, insured for the purpose of the driving test, fully roadworthy and fitted with dual controls.
• We accept no liability for any vehicle breakdowns that occur during the test. We are not liable for any consequential losses.
• Your driving instructor reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the use of a driving school vehicle for the test if they consider that providing a vehicle could pose a risk to public safety.
• We are not liable for test appointments cancelled by the DVSA due to bad weather, illness, staff shortages or other reasons. Such cancellations are beyond our control and, therefore, the lesson fee and the fee for the use of the car during the booked period will be payable.
4. Your rights
• These terms and conditions do not affect any rights you may have under consumer legislation.
